Samuel Foxon began his musical training as a Chorister at Derby Cathedral. After obtaining a degree in Music at the University of York, he pursued a Masters Degree in historically informed performance, during which he gave recitals on English Baroque composers, the Cantatas of J.S. Bach, and composers of Early Lieder. Samuel began conducting choral music with the University of York Choir, leading sectional rehearsals. He also has sung and directed in many of the Churches in York.
Samuel spends most of his time teaching secondary school music in Didcot, and is delighted to be working with Didcot Choral Society in creating music.
